Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

This is one of my favorite recipes for home parties. I used the slider buns and our guests always want the recipe.

Instructions

Place the pork tenderloin in a slow cooker. Salt & pepper the pork tenderloin to taste. Poke holes with a fork in the tenderloin. Pour root beer over the meat.  Cook on low for 5 ½ to 6 hours until tender. Drain well. Shred the pork tenderloin. Add barbecue sauce & mix well. Cook for an additional 1 ½ hours. Serve over hamburger buns.

Nutritional Information Per Serving:  335 calories, 21.2  grams protein, 5 grams of fat,  49.4 grams of CHO,  1.5  grams dietary fiber,  990 mg sodium.

1 (12-fluid ounce) can or bottle root beer

1 (18-ounce) bottle favorite barbecue sauce

Salt & pepper to taste

8 hamburger buns

Pulled pork BBQ sandwich with pickles
